The grand opening of the Metuchen Makery on Saturday, March 21st was a tremendous success. Happy, engaged families experimented with all kinds of projects including: Legos Junior Robotics, Legos StoryStarter, Little Bits Electronics, and MindStorms to name a few. Enjoy the photos from the day. We'd like to thank The Lemelson Foundation for the grant that made the Metuchen Makery possible.
The Friends are proud to announce the recent receipt of a $500 Community Champions grant from Constellation Energy, an Excellon Company. The grant will be used to purchase a 3D printer to support more innovative, entrepreneurial projects by Metuchen's children and teens.
